Chief Mrs. Ahanonu, therefore called on the women to come all out and support the party and the administration of the governor.

This, she said, they could do by serious public sensitization and enlightenment on the programmes and activities of the government designed to better the lots of the people especially women and children.

Addressing the people earlier, the State Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani reminded party supporters in the State that hope and strong faith are very necessary for the sustenance of the party structure at all levels.

The Governor told the people of Enugu West Senatorial Zone that politics has started and therefore they should move into the field, go back to the grassroots to mobilize their supporters. He said that due compensation will be given as usual to those who worked for the party as well as the loyal and dedicated foundation members.

The leader of the party in the State also reminded PDP faithfuls that only tested and trusted members who are ready to deliver should be considered for position of trust at all levels and not on grounds of nepotism and family affiliations.
